I've moved many times and, correspondingly, have used the services of many real estate agents.

Several of them have performed very well, but Tina Young has been the best of them all. A good agent is knowledgeable of the transaction process and reliably stays on top of the complexity of paperwork and deadlines. Tina did all of that. But Tina really stood out in two other areas: 1) She maintains a list of outstanding contacts, including contractors. Post-COVID, it can be difficult to find contractors in a timely manner. Not only did she provide names and numbers, she coordinated service and repair work for me within a very tight schedule, saving me a large amount of time and stress from doing it myself. 2) Tina is very empathetic, a quality not often seen in agents. She made recommendations based on her experience, but she never pressured me to act on them. She took the time to listen and understand my motivations and rationale as a seller, and she consistently made recommendations within that framework. Her genuine concern, patience, and understanding were wonderful during a very challenging time. I can't say enough good about Tina. She is absolutely top-notch.
